Videos appear to be in two categories. Videos using appropriated film and videos made through the animation of photograph stills.

Appropriation videos are formed by slicing and dicing exisitng footage, some obscure, while some is very well known. The referencing of dream states as moments lodged in memory acts significantly on a subconcious level. Looping plays an important role.

The latter is created by the repetition of still frames resulting in an animation sequence. The images used are either digital in origin or traditional film (35mm negs) that has been digitized. The repetition of sequence results in the video’s movement.

In all, minimal sound bites are used to heighten the experience.
